Struggling with swing changes?

We all spend lots of time reading the latest articles, practicing the latest swing style getting lesson from the next biggest teacher. Looking for the SECRET. Has it helped your  game? I think not! Why?

My belief is that too many articles are written on positions within the golf swing and not enough focus on the motion of the golf swing. The swing is a motion, no good player thinks about positions within the swing when they are playing. The motion involves the correct motion of the golf club and also the correct motion of the body. Any tightnesses or limitations in the body will have massive effect on how you swing the golf club. If these tightnesses and limitations are not addressed you are doomed to swing the club the same way for ever. If you are serious about making swing changes you will address your body also. This doesn't mean you turn into a gym junky but a basic flexibility program and a warm up before you play can be a great start.
